Revenue and Strategic Acquisitions

Lutech Group has achieved a significant milestone with a 25% increase in revenue, totaling 429 million euros in the first half of the year. This growth is driven by both organic development and strategic acquisitions, such as the establishment of Lutech Digital Airport. This new division emerged from acquiring the Airport Information Services of Sea Milan Airports, aligning with a contract to manage technological infrastructure and related services for the next nine years. Additionally, Lutech has acquired Eustema and SoftJam, enhancing its capabilities in customer relationship management, artificial intelligence, and public administration services.

Workforce Expansion and International Growth

To support its growth trajectory, Lutech is actively recruiting, with plans to increase its workforce by 800 professionals by the end of the year, half of whom have already joined. The group's international expansion continues with the development of a Global Competence Center in Tirana, Albania, currently employing over 100 specialists. This center is expected to grow to 400 employees by 2026, focusing on consulting, implementation, and operations across various technologies and platforms.

AI Factory and Strategic Initiatives

Lutech is progressing with its AI Factory project, which will consolidate expertise gained from the Leonardo supercomputer project at the Bologna technopole, a reference point for Cineca. The AI Factory leverages the Lutech campus and aims to foster public-private synergies in research and innovation, involving startups, universities, and institutions. This initiative is strategically important for Italy's national system, supported by resources from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Lutech, in collaboration with Engineering, has also launched the Digital Alliance for Italy, focusing on digital transition.

Key Contracts and Collaborations

In the first half of the year, Lutech secured several significant contracts, including Consip agreements and partnerships with INPS for application services, Ansaldo Energia for centralized and distributed infrastructure management, and Alia Servizi Ambientali for a new corporate ERP system. Other notable collaborations include SAP system migration for Giva and worldwide digital workplace services management for Dedalus. Additionally, companies like Eni, A2a, 2i Rete Gas, Fastweb, and the Carabinieri have renewed their contracts with Lutech.
