Coelmo, a Naples-based company specializing in industrial and marine generators, has introduced a new line of ultra-compact marine generators at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The launch includes the DM320 model, known for its compact size and efficiency, and plans for future models like the DM600 and DML2000.
Coelmo's generators are designed for tight spaces on boats and are controlled by advanced EOS panels.
With a strong market presence in 36 countries and a projected revenue of 60 million euros by 2024, Coelmo continues to innovate in response to evolving market demands.

Coelmo, a company based in Naples, has launched a new series of ultra-compact marine generators, showcasing them at the Cannes Yachting Festival, a leading event for large sailboats.
The highlight is the DM320 model, the most compact in their marine range, measuring 58x42x52 cm and weighing 99 kg.
It features a Yanmar single-cylinder engine with electric start, indirect seawater cooling, and a 320 cc displacement engine running at 3000 rpm.
The DM320 consumes 0.8 liters per hour at half load and 1.30 liters per hour at full load, delivering a maximum power of 3.2 kW. It includes a brushless, two-pole, seawater-cooled synchronous alternator with insulation class 'H'. Previous models have seen strong sales in Italy, Egypt, Turkey, France, and Australia, prompting Coelmo to innovate and relaunch them.
Future plans include the DM600 with 6 kW power at 3000 rpm and the DML2000 with 19 kW at 1500 rpm, popular in the leisure boating sector, and models ranging from 45 to 75 kW for commercial marine use.
Coelmo aims to expand production of the DML970, valued for its balance of quietness and power, and the DML2000, known for its excellent value.
The Coelmo range is designed for installation in tight spaces on boats, with control managed by EOS plus and EOS 4.1 panels.
With three production facilities in Acerra, Coelmo operates in 36 countries across various sectors.
With 75 years of experience, the company offers design, project management, testing, installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and technical support for generators worldwide.
Coelmo anticipates reaching a revenue of 60 million euros by the end of 2024, with 60% from international markets.
The leisure marine segment accounts for about 5% of this.
The company employs around 200 people across its Italian facilities. 'We have renewed our range of marine generators, ' says Marco Monsurrò, CEO of Coelmo, 'to bring a sustainable offering to the market and meet the increasingly demanding needs of an evolving market.'
